Apartment bathroom and WC renovation – Zlín, Jižní Svahy

Scope of work

In Jižní Svahy, Zlín, we renovated an apartment bathroom and separate WC. The original layout was completely stripped out, including an unused structural void, allowing better use of the space.

New partitions and infill walls were built using Porfix blocks. The project included completely new services: fusion-welded PPR water pipes, HT drainage, alterations to service routes in concrete panels and connections to the existing risers.

The shower area received a channel drain and a wall niche with a concealed shower mixer. Level Plus products were used for waterproofing, with Knauf Flexkleber flexible tile adhesive. Wall tiles measure 60 × 30 cm and floor tiles 60 × 60 cm.

The work included plasterboard ceilings and new ventilation for both rooms through a shared duct connected to the riser.

A significant part of the work involved levelling uneven concrete panel walls and repairing surfaces in the adjoining part of the apartment. The walls were reinforced with mesh in a cement-based coating and finished with fine plaster. We prepared the walls for painting; the customer arranged the final painting. Fitting sanitary fixtures was outside our scope.

The project took approximately 4 weeks. The result is a more functional layout, new services and carefully executed bathroom finishes, with particular attention to accurate substrates and details.
